Your Beautiful Story

I will meditate on your wonderful works. . . . I will proclaim your great deeds.

I remember the first time a friend invited me to Hills Christian Life Center—which grew into Hillsong Church in Sydney. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt that I had found the home I didn’t even know I was looking for. There, immersed in fellowship and worship, mentored in God’s Word, loved, valued, and accepted, I became so alive and on fire with purpose.

There’s something about our beginnings in our relationship with Christ that is so powerful, so moving, so very real. If you’re like me, it was something I couldn’t wait to share.

Maybe the first time you heard the gospel, God enabled you to recognize the truth, and you committed your life to Jesus. Or maybe God placed people in your life at several points, some sowing seeds of truth and others watering them, until your decision to follow Jesus finally blossomed.

Whatever your story of God’s gracious revelation of His truth, it’s too good not to be shared. Sharing our stories of faith is all about revealing God’s glory on this earth. As your story continues, as you continue to run the race, keep sharing. And remember that God will provide the strength and energy you need. (Isaiah 40:31).

Almighty God, please use my story to share Your truth with the ones You place in my life. Thank You for writing it for me!
