You Are Worth Far More

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

Luke 12:6–7

Years ago, our gracious God took my heart—that had been broken and made to feel so unworthy—and healed it and made me whole. Then, because I was willing to take one step . . . and then another . . . and another, God used me to come alongside those who were suffering—alongside people who have been flattened by life.

Do you see the beauty of this design? The very thing the Enemy used to try to destroy my life is the thing that God has used to help others. And that’s what God wants to do with your life too.

He can heal every hurt and turn your scars into points of connection in a ministry that draws people to Jesus. He knows the worth of each one of us, and as He heals us, He connects us to Him and to each other. He knows you, loves you, and values you. How great that your past need no longer define you or your future.

I thank You for choosing to love me and heal me, Lord. And thank You for redeeming my life to help me connect with hurting people who need to meet Jesus.
