The God Of The Impossible

Jesus looked at [His disciples] and said, “With man [salvation] is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

“It’s impossible that he will be saved.”

“It’s impossible for that stronghold to be broken.”

When I hear, “That’s impossible,” about anything, I think to myself, Fantastic! Impossible is where God starts.

Because our God is the God of the impossible, the seemingly impossible is not a barrier to what He wants to do in our lives or what He wants us to do for Him. If you are open, God will equip you to serve Him no matter how impossible anything may seem. After all, God blessed the gospel efforts of fishermen, a tax collector, a doctor, and many more—and two thousand years later, we are the fruit of their labor! He did the impossible through their lives.

Whatever you are facing today—a presentation, a relentless schedule, or a spiritual hurdle—refuse to let impossible make you sit down and not even try to do what He wants you to do in this world. Refuse to let impossible discourage you from cooperating in the transformative work God wants to do in your heart and through your life. After all, what’s impossible with man is always possible with God.

Lord, I am so grateful that You achieve the impossible. Show me how to stay open to Your amazing possibilities.
