What brings God joy?

God’s Response

He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. Psalm 18:19

The LORD’s delight is in those who honor him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalm 147:11

You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created. Revelation 4:11

You bring God joy when you love him, honor him, and put your hope in him. He rejoices over you with gladness when you commit your life to serving him. Think about it —God’s greatest joy is a relationship with you, and that is why he created you. That thought should make you realize your great value.

God’s Promise

The LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song. Zephaniah 3:17
