Crisis

Crisis

What are some of the blessings that can come from my times of crisis?

God’s Response

The sailors were awestruck by the LORD’s great power, and they offered him a sacrifice and vowed to serve him. Jonah 1:16

I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News. Philippians 1:12

The people who walk in darkness will see a great light —a light that will shine on all who live in the land where death casts its shadow. Isaiah 9:2

God’s transforming power often touches you most deeply in times of crisis. Sometimes a crisis helps to clear away the mundane clutter so that you see your life and its priorities more clearly. How you react to times of crisis shows your character and can determine what others think about Christ. While it might be hard to believe now, you can trust that God will bring light back into your darkness. Without God, you have no hope, and no value can come of your suffering.

God’s Promise

These trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering. 1 Peter 4:13
