What are the privileges of belonging to God?

God’s Response

Those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Isaiah 26:19

Now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. Galatians 3:29

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Ephesians 1:3

Belonging to God means that you no longer let sin control you; you can overcome it. You will still sin, but you are no longer enslaved to sin. Belonging to God also means that you can be certain that you will rise from the dead, live eternally with God, and receive all that God has promised his people in the Bible. This includes blessings you can experience today, such as peace of heart, comfort, great Christian friendships, and the satisfaction of knowing you are doing what God has created you to do. These are just a few of the countless privileges of belonging to God.
