We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

The world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 1 John 2:16

Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

Satan is alive and well, and his legions of demons are always on the attack. A battle rages in the spiritual realm—you can’t see it, but you will experience it if you serve God. You need God’s power, not your own, to stand strong and not allow temptations to draw you away. Most of all, since you do not always know or understand the evil that is threatening you, you need God’s strength for facing an unknown enemy. Prepare yourself by putting on the armor God gives you to protect you from battle. Read his Word and communicate with him daily.
