Shine Like Stars

Shine like Stars

Some of my teachers make fun of my faith. How should I respond to them—or should I?

God’s Response

When they heard Paul speak about the resurrection of the dead, some laughed in contempt, but others said, “We want to hear more about this later.” That ended Paul’s discussion with them, but some joined him and became believers. Acts 17:32-34

If you face teachers who make fun of your faith, pray about how to respond to them. You should always be respectful, just as Paul was. It will take courage and strength to face opposition or even derision, but your job is to share your faith and allow God to work in their hearts. Some may laugh, but you don’t know how other teachers or students will be affected by your consistent witness and godly lifestyle. One thing is for sure: God will be pleased and you will be blessed.

This Is Promising

Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. Daniel 12:3
