Seeds Of Faith

Seeds of Faith

What do I do when people don’t want to listen to my faith story?

God’s Response

He said, “Son of man, go to the people of Israel and give them my messages. I am not sending you to a foreign people whose language you cannot understand. No, I am not sending you to people with strange and difficult speech. If I did, they would listen! But the people of Israel won’t listen to you any more than they listen to me!” Ezekiel 3:4-7

A farmer went out to plant his seed. . . . Some seed fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on. . . . Other seed fell on fertile soil. Luke 8:5, 8

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6

Ezekiel was sent to tell people about God. God already knew the people were not going to listen to Ezekiel, but he was to tell them anyway. You may share your story only to find people refusing to listen. However, you don’t know if you have planted a seed in someone’s heart that will one day grow into faith in Jesus.

This Is Promising

Still other seed fell on fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred times as much as had been planted! Luke 8:8
