Passing The Test

Can I know if I’ve passed God’s test?

God’s Response

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7

God isn’t going to drop a report card down from heaven, but you’ll know you’ve passed his tests when your faith has remained strong in challenging situations. Even if you had some doubts, tears, or fears, if you have stayed loyal to God and continue to do your best to follow him, you’ll emerge on the other side of each test feeling closer to him because you will have experienced his care firsthand.

This Is Promising

When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4
