Can I trust in God as my hope?

God’s Response

God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Hebrews 6:18-19

The Lord is our source of hope because he tells the truth and keeps his promises. We lose hope when we stop believing that. The Resurrection, the greatest event in history, is the foundation of our hope. Jesus promised that he would rise from the dead, and because he did, you can be assured that every other promise God makes to you will also come true. This changes the way you make choices every day. God has an eternal future planned for you that is far better than anything you can imagine! Live today as though you truly believe that, and see how your perspective changes.

This Is Promising
