How can I keep hoping when God doesn’t seem to act?

God’s Response

We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it.) Romans 8:24

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1

Who but God controls the future? Who but God has a home for you that is eternal? Who but God forgives your sins? Who but God gives you a life that lasts forever? The reality is that God is always acting—you just may not always be aware of it. He is always aware, always there, always caring. Keep hoping. God will act at the time and in the way that is best for you.
