More Love

More Love

How can I love others more?

God’s Response

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

We love each other because he loved us first. 1 John 4:19

Love is a decision to value people with respect, compassion, and courtesy because they are created in God’s image. Real love is a consistent and courageous decision to extend yourself for the well-being of others. This applies to all relationships, whether romantic love, family love, good friends, or someone you don’t even know who needs your help. As you realize how much God has reached out to you in love, and as you accept his love, you will grow in your ability to love others—even people you don’t like.

This Is Promising

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
