Will God provide for my financial needs?

God’s Response

Don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:31-33

God knows all of your needs and promises to supply them fully. That doesn’t mean that you don’t have to work hard or take on extra work to meet extra needs. It doesn’t mean that you can run up irresponsible debt and expect God to bail you out. You can know, however, that when you’re walking in his will, he promises to help in all areas of your life, including finances. If you have been irresponsible, go to God, confess it, and ask for help to change. You will have some tough work ahead, but the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom and the determination to see it through.

This Is Promising

This same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches. Philippians 4:19
