Can I learn from Jesus about being a good leader?

God’s Response

The Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does. John 5:19

Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness. Matthew 10:1

Since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. John 13:14

Part of a leader’s responsibility is to help his or her followers develop a perspective on God’s truth that enables them to interpret life from an eternal point of view. Even when it is hard, the truth sets people free from ignorance and deception. As a leader, it is your responsibility to keep God’s truth at the center of all you do and decide. Then you will be doing what is wise and approved of by God. This applies whether you are the leader of a family, a church group, or a large corporation.
