Why does God allow challenges into my life?

God’s Response

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4

Threatening challenges are the very tools God uses to bring you to greater strength and maturity. As you endure these challenges, you receive greater wisdom, integrity, and courage to face whatever comes your way. Somewhere down the road, you will look back and realize how much stronger you became as a result of these challenges, and how God used them to prepare you for the future.

This Is Promising

David continued, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” 1 Chronicles 28:20
