Giant Problems

Giant Problems

If God really loves me, why is my life so difficult?

God’s Response

Then Goliath, a Philistine champion from Gath, came out of the Philistine ranks to face the forces of Israel. He was over nine feet tall! . . . David asked the soldiers standing nearby, . . . “Who is this pagan Philistine anyway, that he is allowed to defy the armies of the living God?” . . . [David] picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine. 1 Samuel 17:4, 26, 40

Your life may be filled with giant problems—relationship problems, financial difficulties, or physical limitations. The presence of problems doesn’t mean that God is absent or that he doesn’t love you. Problems come to everyone, but with God, you have the resources to deal with any giant problem that comes your way.

This Is Promising

Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. John 16:33
