Encouragement

Encouragement

What kinds of words should I speak?

God’s Response

He reassured them by speaking kindly to them. Genesis 50:21

Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29

Gentle words are a tree of life. Proverbs 15:4

When you open your mouth to speak, you either shoot a sharp arrow that pierces another person, inflicting hurt and pain, or you send out a soothing balm that covers a person with encouragement and healing. Sometimes you don’t even realize what your words do to others. The words you say and the way that you say them can have great power and influence in others’ lives. Use them wisely to bring hope and healing.

This Is Promising

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
