Do demons and angels really fight?

God’s Response

Your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. Daniel 10:12-13

Even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.) Jude 1:9

God answered Daniel’s prayer by sending an angel to help. Another powerful spiritual being (“the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia”) detained the angel for three weeks, and the two beings fought until a second angel, Michael, came to help. All of this was in response to Daniel’s prayer. Be aware that a battle does indeed rage in the spiritual realm. Angels and demons are constantly fighting, and they are fighting over you! Your prayers are heard by God and are a powerful weapon in the battle against Satan.
