Asking For Help
Asking for Help
How will God help me when I’m in trouble?
God’s Response
Late that night, the disciples were in their boat in the middle of the lake, and Jesus was alone on land. He saw that they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. Mark 6:47-48
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble, and you will answer me. Psalm 86:7
When you face difficulty, allow God to come alongside you. Don’t push him away. Talk to God about what is happening. He already knows, but he wants you to call out to him and acknowledge your need for him. It doesn’t matter how large or small the problem is—if it hurts you, it hurts him and he wants to help. But he won’t force his help on you. Ask for his guidance and comfort. Ask him to help you get through the hard time and to learn something from it.
This Is Promising
