Amazing Kindness

Amazing Kindness

What is grace and how do I receive it?

God’s Response

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. Romans 6:14

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9

Grace is another word for the amazing kindness God showers on us even when we do not deserve it. God’s greatest act of kindness is offering us salvation and eternal life, even though we have ignored, neglected, and rebelled against him. God’s grace sets you free from the power of sin when he forgives you, so that each day you can make the choice to overpower your sinful nature. God’s grace changes your life because you understand what it feels like to be loved even though you have not loved in return. This should cause you to love others in the same way that God loves you. To whom can you show God’s grace today?

This Is Promising

All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. 2 Corinthians 4:15
