How will having wisdom help me in my responsibilities?

Since a dull ax requires great strength, sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed. Ecclesiastes 10:10

Be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise. Ephesians 5:15

Give me an understanding mind so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. 1 Kings 3:9

Wisdom isn’t just knowing the facts—it is understanding that an all-powerful, all-knowing God has designed a moral standard in which both good and sinful choices have consequences. Wisdom also means choosing to apply God’s truth and principles in your relationships and daily circumstances. Wisdom begins with understanding your accountability to your creator and with choosing to depend fully on him. Wisdom isn’t just what you know, but how you live.

God’s Promise

Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. Proverbs 9:11-12
