Routine

As I settle into the activities of this season, what should always be a part of my routine?

God’s Response

You must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are away on a journey, when you are lying down and when you are getting up again. Deuteronomy 6:6-7

[Daniel] prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God. Daniel 6:10

As was Paul’s custom, he went to the synagogue service. Acts 17:2

Your routine should always include reading God’s Word and sharing it with friends or family, praying, and attending church. Make these activities a priority, for you need them in order to have the peace, patience, and strength for everything else you do. Put God first and all other priorities will fall into order. Test God on this and watch him work powerfully in your life.
