How do I show respect for others?

Take delight in honoring each other. Romans 12:10

A despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt deep pity. Kneeling beside him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds. Luke 10:33-34

Honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. 1 Thessalonians 5:12

How can you claim that you have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people more than others? James 2:1

Respect means showing more concern for people than for agendas or social standing. God calls his people to respect and honor all other human beings, regardless of their race, status, social standing, or economic means. To show respect you should be fair, think highly of others, befriend them, encourage them, and treat them as equals. Remember that if you are a Christian, your mission is to show Jesus’ reflection in you to others. How well have you been reflecting him?
