How can I find peace within?

God’s Response

I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8

The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. Psalm 29:11

For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Psalm 32:7

You can have peace within, in spite of your circumstances, when you fully trust that God is always watching over your soul. The peace of God will not prevent you from encountering difficulties, but will give you victory over them. God promises to give you eternal life in a perfect heaven, and he promises that Satan cannot steal your soul away from God. When you have total confidence in these two things, then no matter what happens, you can have peace with God.
