How can a tiny baby be the mighty God?

God’s Response

A child is born to us, a son is given to us. . . . These will be his royal titles . . . Mighty God. Isaiah 9:6

Suddenly, a terrible storm came up . . . [Jesus] stood up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm. The disciples just sat there in awe. “Who is this?” they asked themselves. “Even the wind and waves obey him!” Matthew 8:24, 26-27

I depend on Christ’s mighty power that works within me. Colossians 1:27-29

It’s hard to picture the baby Jesus as the mighty God, but he was mighty enough to create the world, live a sinless life, heal countless people, calm storms, and conquer death. He is mighty enough to conquer your troubles, too!

By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. Ephesians 3:20
