Grace

Grace

How does God’s grace affect my daily life?

God’s Response

The LORD is merciful and gracious; he is slow to get angry and full of unfailing love. Psalm 103:8

Sin is no longer your master, for you are no longer subject to the law. . . . Instead, you are free by God’s grace. Romans 6:14

Let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it. Hebrews 4:16

Grace is another word for the amazing kindness God showers on us, even when we do not deserve it. God’s greatest act of kindness is to offer us salvation and eternal life even though we have ignored him, neglected him, and rebelled against him. God’s grace sets you free from the power of sin when he forgives you, so that you can choose each day to overpower your sinful nature. God’s grace changes your life because you understand what it feels like to be loved even when you have not loved in return. This should cause you to love others in the same way that God loves you. To whom can you be an example of God’s grace today?

God’s Promise

We do not ask because we deserve help, but because you are so merciful. Daniel 9:18
