Battles

Battles

Why does it seem like someone or something is always fighting me?

God’s Response

We are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the Devil. Matthew 13:39

The world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They are from this evil world. 1 John 2:16

Satan is alive and active, and his legions of demons are always on the attack. A battle rages in the spiritual realm—a battle you can’t see but one that you will experience if you seek to serve God. You need God’s power, not your own, to stand strong and not allow temptations to draw you away. Most of all, since you do not always know or understand the evil that is threatening you, you need God’s power to give you strength to face an unknown enemy. Have peace that God’s knowledge and power will save you in battle.

God’s Promise

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. Romans 16:20
