Take Your Time

For in six days, the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. Exodus 20:11

God is the ultimate entrepreneur who creates opportunity out of nothing. He conceives new ideas and brings them to market. He blazes new trails where no one else has gone.

One thing God understands that many entrepreneurs don’t is that things take time. We wake up in the morning with a new idea, and we’re frustrated because it’s still on the drawing board that afternoon.

“Why do we need to talk about this? Can’t we just get it done?”

God could have shortened creation to the blink of an eye, but he played it out over several days to show us that there is value in the process. Coming up with a new idea is only the first of many steps in getting something done.
