Make Things New

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentations 3:22-23

Human beings are extremely susceptible to what I call the Ho-Hum Factor.

We lose interest, become complacent, and often take important things for granted because they no longer sparkle with newness.

God understands this. He created us, and he knows us better than we know ourselves, so he renews his mercies every morning. His love for us never ceases, and he finds new ways to exhibit his care each day.

When was the last time you refreshed your messaging? Are you saying the same thing in the same way as you did a year ago? Have you updated your packaging or your logo?

If response to your last fund-raising appeal or sales flyer was disappointing, perhaps you need to find a new way to tell the story. People might be suffering from the Ho Hums.
