Make Good Alliances

Make Good Alliances

Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction? Amos 3:3

I have been honored to facilitate discussions between companies that are forming strategic alliances. These unions are most successful when both sides are completely transparent about their objectives for the partnership.

When both companies understand what the other is trying to accomplish, they can more easily use their unique competencies to achieve common solutions.

The prophet Amos is delivering a message from the Lord to the people of Israel. God is warning them of the consequences of not walking in step with his lead.

Strategic alliances make good business sense. Fast-food chains and Hollywood film producers do it on a grand scale.

Maybe it’s your clothing store and a health club, or your furniture shop and a remodeling contractor, or your children’s dental practice and a day-care center. The possibilities are endless.

Agreeing on where you want to go is a good place to start.
