Help People Glimpse The Future

Joseph’s story is a great example of the power we wield when we help people catch a glimpse of the future. To do that, we must share our dreams.

President Kennedy did it when he jump-started the space program. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. did it at the Lincoln Memorial. Football coaches do it in pregame locker-room talks.

When you take people on a journey into the future, you give them hope as you lift their perspectives above the quiet desperation to which many are accustomed.

If you’re a storyteller, practice and perfect your talent into a reliable strength. If you’re not blessed with a visionary perspective, find someone who is and make him or her a member of your inner circle.

There is hope and fresh air in the future.

Help people see the future and they’ll beg you to lead them toward it.
