Know Where To Find The Answers

Know Where to Find the Answers

“It is beyond my power to do this,” Joseph replied. “But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease.” Genesis 41:16

When I was a kid, everything I needed to know could be found within the pages of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. The world’s collective knowledge was there, and each year we received an update with new knowledge.

Today, the world’s knowledge base is expanding so rapidly that it is impossible to keep up with everything in printed form. Before the ink dries on a page, some of the information is out-of-date.

Since it is impossible to actually possess the latest knowledge on a particular topic, it’s no longer necessary to actually know anything. What is important is knowing where to look for answers.

You need someone on your team who has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and is constantly looking for new sources of information. That person should be able to say, “I don’t know the answer, but I know exactly where to go to find out.”
