Fine-tune Your Product Descriptions

Fine-Tune Your Product Descriptions

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1

If God were an organization, this chapter might be the page in the employee manual that explains what makes the product unique:

At Yahweh, Inc., our number one product is love. Everything we do has love as its first ingredient. As a Yahweh staff member, you should be able to answer the question, “So what is this thing called love?”

Paul’s love chapter gives a simple, complete, and powerful answer.

Do you have a similar way of describing your primary product or service? Most organizations need work in this area. Their product descriptions are too detailed or too vague.

Find someone who isn’t familiar with your product and ask them to read your material. Then ask them to describe what you do in their own words. If they get it wrong, you have a problem.
