Find A Spokesperson

Find a Spokesperson

Aaron will be your spokesman to the people. He will be your mouthpiece, and you will stand in the place of God for him, telling him what to say. Exodus 4:16

I’ve had the privilege of being an Aaron for a handful of great leaders who are better at making decisions and casting vision than they are at communicating.

In a few cases, I’ve been the public face of an organization. I have helped leaders write letters, press releases, and articles. It always begins with their asking, “Can you help me say what I mean to say?”

Spokespeople get a bad rap when they’re used to protect public figures who are hiding from scrutiny, but when the motives are genuine, a well-trained mouthpiece can ensure the intended message is clearly stated.

Perhaps you’re frustrated because the people you lead don’t understand what you’re saying.

A leader’s responsibility is to lead. That’s not easy to do if there’s a breakdown in communication. Finding an Aaron might make all the difference in the world.
