Experts say that the key to avoiding making a bad situation worse in the wilderness is to stop immediately and get down to the business of surviving.

Your leadership responsibilities include making sure the organization stays on the path to your objective. Make immediate corrections if it begins to stray.

Jesus sent a wake-up call to the church at Sardis. He urged their leaders to “strengthen what little remains” (Revelation 3:2) before they ran out of time.

The longer you wait, the more drastic the fix will need to be.

“The moment you realize you’re lost—take a deep breath and plan your next moves carefully. What you do in the first hour will have a profound effect on your chance for survival.”
