Experiencing God's Presence #145

I will give you great honor and satisfy you with the inheritance I promised to your ancestor Jacob. I, the LORD, have spoken!

Isaiah 58:14

“No one knows the riches I bestow on those who love Me. You experience some of them in some measure, but no eye on earth has yet seen the height and depth and width of My favor. But you can see more than you have. Your vision can grow. The promises I gave long ago still apply. The blessings I spoke to Israel belong to all who have been grafted into My people. The more you honor Me, the more I show you My honor. And I have placed no upper limits on My blessings.

“Few accept My invitations because few understand how extravagant they are. I gave Israel a promised land as their inheritance, but that was only the beginning. I gave My Son an eternal, incorruptible inheritance, and all who are in Him can share in that inheritance. Everything has been created for Him. And He shares everything with those who love Him.

“Just as I promised honor to My people in the presence of nations around them, so do I offer honor to you in the society in which you live. Honor Me, and My favor will lift you up and raise you to places of influence. Love Me, and you will taste the fruits of My ‘promised land.’ Delight in Me, and I will give you the desires of your heart. As you give to Me, I will give back to you in greater measure. This is how My inheritance works. And you have all of eternity to fully explore it.”

Lord, Your promises are great, but they seem to exceed my experience. How can I experience more? Turn my heart to honor You and delight in You. Show me how to access Your extravagant blessings more fully.
