Proclaiming God’s Perfection

Proclaiming God’s Perfection

I will proclaim the name of the LORD;

how glorious is our God!

He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.

Everything he does is just and fair.

He is a faithful God who does no wrong;

how just and upright he is!

Deuteronomy 32:3-4

God is perfect! This was the theme of the song of praise that Moses taught the people toward the end of his life. No matter how much we admire other people, neither we nor they would ever claim perfection. But everything God does is “just and fair.” If this is true, then we will sometimes need to adjust our perspective on life’s trials and troubles. From our own limited vantage point, we cannot always understand why things happen and what they mean. But in those times of difficulty, we need to remind ourselves that God does no wrong; he is faithful, just, and upright.

Join your voice with that of Moses and many other believers through the centuries. Praise our holy and perfect God!

  • Dear God, your deeds are perfect. Everything you do is just and fair . . .
