Praise For The Diversity Of Creation

O LORD, what a variety of things you have made!

In wisdom you have made them all.

The earth is full of your creatures.

Famous artists are often admired and remembered for the scope and variety of their work. How much more should we admire God for the incredible variety of his creation! Whether we set out to study biology, geology, or astronomy, diversity is one of the first things we notice. There are oak trees and orchids, mountains and mesas, black holes and bright stars. When we consider these vast differences in the universe, we are dumbfounded. God’s wonderful creation inspires us to praise him, and God finds pleasure in those who appreciate his creation and thank him for it.
