Our Secret Sauce, His Recipe
Our Secret Sauce, His Recipe
WELL, WE KNOW it takes two to tango, so what about our recipe from Steve’s perspective?
Now that you know how to spice up your secret sauce, I thought maybe the man in your life could use a few cooking tips as well. So, with Steve’s permission, I’d like to share with you those ingredients he adds to our secret sauce.
What comes first, the chicken or the egg? This has been Steve’s and my dilemma for a while as we have tried to analyze what makes us work so well as a team. He says it’s because I’m always positive, happy, and content. He loves the fact that I never nag. But I’m convinced that I am this positive, happy, and contented woman because he’s such a great husband. As I continued to think about what makes our relationship work so well, I realized there are things Steve intuitively knows that some guys have never thought about. It’s not that they’re uncaring or dumb—they’re just not wired to naturally know how to make the most of their marriage through the honoring of their wives.
Girlfriends, my hope is that this chapter will help you begin an objective, honest dialogue with your mate if you find that any of these ingredients are also important to you. And, if your man is in touch with his “softer side,” pass the book over to him for the next few pages. I promise I’ll be gentle. Well, sort of. Heeheeheehee . . .
I am my lover’s, and he claims me as his own. (Song of Songs 7:10)
Oh, we’re stirring the sauce now!
