God’s Help For My Friend

STRONG FATHER, I’ve seen your mighty power in many ways, and I believe nothing is impossible for you. I’ve read of the help you showed to people in ages past: to Joseph, Moses, Esther, David, Mary Magdalene, and many others in the Bible. Their stories have impacted my story.

I know that you still help people today, because you have helped me. You have intervened in numerous events of my life, and when I remember them, I am grateful all over again. I’ve also seen how you have transformed the lives of people I know, which has bolstered my faith in your resurrection power.

I come to you now, God, on behalf of a friend who needs to experience your unstoppable might and loving rescue. When she wishes she had wings of a dove and could fly far away, please send her strength and encouragement to persevere. When she feels so fearful that she can’t stop shaking, please calm her heart. When she feels overwhelmed, please give her abundant support.

Thank you that we can hand you our burdens and know that you care for us. Please show your loving care to my friend today, Lord.
