Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.

This beautiful verse promises that all who focus on loving and following God will experience his perfect peace. Our world is full of people who struggle with anxiety, fear, and worry, fixing their thoughts on things they cannot control. But what would it be like to feel perfectly at peace? We can find this peace by directing our anxious thoughts back to God and deliberately filling our minds with his Word when we feel afraid. God’s Word describes him as “the eternal Rock.” Leaning on him gives us stability and security as we trust him to hold us up. And as we rest against him, we “experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand” (Philippians 4:7).
