There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor. The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you.

At the end of the book of Deuteronomy, Moses gave his final blessing to Israel before his death. Imagine the weight of words spoken by someone who is about to pass on; most likely they will be some of the most important they have ever spoken. Moses chose to emphasize to God’s people that there is no one like God, who comes from heaven to help us, and that he is our refuge and holds us in his arms for all eternity.
