Deuteronomy 6:5

Love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.

God calls each of us to exclusive and complete devotion to him. Is your heart set on God? What are you doing to keep your focus on him? Do you give energy and priority to knowing him more each day? Giving God first place isn’t easy, but it is life changing! The world is constantly demanding our attention, pulling us away from time with God. Choose today to take a step toward loving God well by opening your heart to him in prayer, filling your mind with words from Scripture, and loving others “as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). You will never regret spending time growing in knowledge of and love for your Creator.
