Lord, do you still perform miracles today?
I do great things too marvelous to understand. I perform countless miracles. For I am able, through my mighty power at work within you, to accomplish infinitely more than you might ask or think. With me, everything is possible.

I need a miracle in my life. Can I ask you for one?
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will I give good gifts to those who ask me.

What can I pray when asking you for a miracle in my life?
O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Because of my faith in Jesus, I can now come boldly and confidently into your presence. LORD, hear me and help me!

Miracles happen every day—the birth of a baby, an awesome sunset, the restoration of a hopeless relationship, the rebirth of the earth in spring. If you think you’ve never seen a miracle, ask God to open your eyes to the miracles all around you. What is something you have wanted to ask of God but felt was too impossible, even for him? Allow these verses to give you the courage to pray for that right now, remembering that God is able to do infinitely more than you could ever ask or imagine.
