Live Intentionally

Lord, how can I be more intentional with those I love?

Do to others as you would like them to do to you. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Think of ways to motivate others to acts of love and good works. Encourage others. Live in harmony and peace. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

What does intentionality within a community look like?

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals, and to prayer. They met together in one place and shared everything they had. They shared with those in need. They worshiped together each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising me and enjoying the goodwill of all the people.

How can I pray to be more intentional with others?

I pray that my love will overflow more and more, and that I will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding.
