Lord, how can I know the difference between Satan’s accusations and your convictions?

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give you a rich and satisfying life. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.

But how can I be strong enough to fight against Satan?

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers. As soon as you pray, I answer you. I encourage you by giving you strength. Be strong in me and in my mighty power. For you are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. But I am faithful; I will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

What can I pray when I feel accused and attacked by Satan?

O LORD, oppose those who oppose me. Fight those who fight against me. Put on your armor, and take up your shield. Prepare for battle, and come to my aid. Let me hear you say, “I will give you victory!” Then I will rejoice in you. I will be glad because you rescue me.
