Creation Is Always Speaking About The Creator

Creation Is Always Speaking About The Creator

Lord, how do you reveal yourself through your creation?

Ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything I made, they can clearly see my invisible qualities—my eternal power and divine nature. The heavens proclaim my glory. The skies display my craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make me known. I am the great King of all the earth.

Romans 1:20; Psalm 19:1-2; Psalm 47:2

What can I learn about you from your creation?

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for I feed them. And aren’t you far more valuable to me than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

Matthew 6:26-27

What can I pray when I’m overwhelmed by the beauty of your creation?

O LORD my God, how great you are! You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens; you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!

Psalm 104:1-3; Psalm 139:6; Jeremiah 32:17

Creation is just one of the many ways that God reveals himself to us. The vastness and beauty of God’s world reminds us of his power, and the fine details remind us of his wisdom. Go outside this evening—even if just for a minute. Look around and find something that moves you to worship your creator. Let God’s world remind you of his great love and awesome power over what he has created.
