Your Potential

Everyone we meet is a hero waiting to happen. When Jesus saw people, He envisioned their potential. No respecter of persons, He associated with people from all walks of life.

Develop and use the gifts I’ve given you. Ask Me for wisdom and guidance. I have breathed My creativity and uniqueness into you. I have made you “wonderfully complex” (Psalm 139:14). Developing your potential is not about how much you can achieve alone; it’s about increasing the small and large talents you have, as you surrender your life to Me every day.

When past failures threaten to devalue you, resist going down that road. I created only one “you,” and no one else can do exactly what I’ve prepared for you to do. There are no limits on doing My Kingdom work. Instead of allowing the comments of others to make you think your life is without purpose, be fully aware of your untapped power to serve Me. Your potential will grow and be developed as you place your complete faith in Me and as you say yes to the expanding opportunities I open up for you to serve others.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
