Worship

Worship is our response to the overtures of love from the heart of the Father.

You were created for the purpose of giving Me glory and honor. Your life is meant to declare My praises. “Let the godly sing for joy to the LORD; it is fitting for the pure to praise him” (Psalm 33:1). Let your worship be expressed out of sincerity, not out of obligation or to impress others. True worship is an honest exchange of pure love. You receive and experience My love for you, and then you give it back to Me—through your words, your giving, your obedience, your service to others, and your heart that asks, “How do You want me to express my love for You today?”

Use variety in the ways you worship Me—bowing your head in reverence, lifting your hands in celebration, falling prostrate before Me in passionate prayer, observing My creation and thanking Me with your eyes wide open, singing, entering into Communion, and being My hands and feet to others. Worship is not a single act—it’s bringing praise to My name with a pure heart. Worshiping Me will prepare you for everything you face today.

Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. . . . Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
